Theoretical Frameworks for Data Analysis Strategies

Leaders in education are challenged with the task of using data in effective ways in order to communicate the learning and instructional needs of all students. Facilitating data-driven decisions involves implementing structures and creating school environments that promotes thoughtful engagement with data in order to foster continuous improvement, cultivating a shared vision, building human capacity, and modifying systems to promote equity and access for student support and achievement (Datnow & Park, 2014). In conclusion, a brief summary of the data findings are provided along with five identified goals suggested for implementation at Will Rogers Middle School.
