Education Badges: Recognizing Employees & Vested Stakeholders for Their Work



An integral part of being a good leader is a reflection of your ability to recognize employees & vested stakeholders (students, families, staff, community partners, etc.) for their work and collaboration. This paper provided an illustration of how badges can be used to recognize employee & vested stakeholder excellence, incentivize learning, foster collaboration and increase motivation. According to research, gamification in the workplace has gained momentum and that when designed properly, the use of badges create relevance and motivation.
